Osasbazaar Pure Silver Modak set for Ganpati, Puja – BIS Hallmarked:
Lord Ganesh is very fond of modak which is why no Ganpati celebration can be complete without a modak. There is an interesting story behind why He loves Modak so much. Once Lord Shiva visited Atri Rishis ashram with Bal Ganesh, He requested the sages wife, Anasuya for food. Anasuya served young Ganesh ji first with many varieties of foods but still Ganesh was hungry. Finally Anasuya gave him a modak; and surprisingly Ganeshs stomach was full after eating it. Similarly, Puranas also say that Menavati, Parvatis mother and Parvati herself used Modak to satiate Ganesh jis hunger. Keep this pure silver modak in your home or office to keep Ganesh ji satisfied all year round. May Ganesh ji remove all obstacles in the path of your success.
